Tour of Cape Town
Today we went to Cape Town with Sarah and she showed us around the area that we have not seen being here at the base in Muizenburg. There is a lot of rich folk and plenty of European type development. The view in this part of South Africa is amazing!
We stopped by a beach near by and saw penguins.
We took a wrong turn into a subdivision and saw baboons on the side of the street chillin. One was eating yogurt until the dogs came and chased them onto the roofs.

Week one Muizenberg
We made it in at about 10pm. We had an amazing trip. The flights were smooth and no lost luggage! Sarah and James (Sarah used to be on staff in Nashville) picked us up from the airport and showed us the base and our room. Today they took us to eat fish and chips at the beach (there were seals swimming in the water) and we asked questions about South Africa, the Muizenberg base, School of Biblical Studies, and a local church planting ministry. Sarah walked us around the neighborhood and showed us the ropes a bit.
The weather is warm but very windy. It is supposed to get to 90 this week. We are surrounded by mountains and the ocean. It seems very modern here and there is a good mixture of people. Many rich and many poor. Over all it feels more like Europe in this part of South Africa.
We are going to sit in on class (School of Biblical Studies) this week starting Monday.

Since Last Week
We are down to six days before we leave for South Africa. We have been planning more details of the trip and are noticing all the little things we have overlooked. This week we got our vaccinations, bought travelers insurance, and did a lot of research on bus/train stations in South Africa and Zambia. YWAM Nashville will pray us out Wednesday, and our flight is Thursday afternoon. Please keep us in your prayers.

13 more days!
We have been back at YWAM for 1 week as of today, and have 13 more days until we fly out for South Africa!
Between work hours we are busy trying to prepare for this trip. Vaccinations come next week... visa's will have to wait until we arrive in the country & we are hoping for the remaining finances to buy a ticket to Zambia.
